Hunter Hathcoat is a singer/songwriter from Ellington, Missouri with a passion for songwriting and country music. Hunter credits his red dirt roots to acts like Casey Donahew, William Clark Green, Randy Rogers Band, and Stoney LaRue. Along with entertaining audiences around the Midwest with his exciting live performances, Hunter is a two-time nominee for Male Vocalist  of the Year in the KTTS Springfield, MO Country Music Awards.

Being raised in a rural Southeast Missouri town, it didn’t take long for Hunter fall in love with country music. At a young age, Hunter began beating on his dad's Martin D-35 and developing a passion for red dirt music.  As Hunter grew older, he developed a passion for songwriting and solo performances. Over the last five years, Hunter has  performed around the Midwest, sharing his love of real country music. Hunter has since shared the stage with acts such as Travis Tritt, Little Texas, Parker McCollum, William Clark Green, Stoney LaRue, Drake White, Sunny Sweeney, Confederate Railroad, Reckless Kelly,  Cody Canada, Travis Denning, The Steeldrivers, Darryl Worley, Micky and the Motorcars, Randall King and many more nationally touring artists. With his success has came two award nominations in the KTTS Springfield, MO Country Music Awards for Male Vocalist of the Year, naming him one of the top three male vocalists in Southwest Missouri/Northwest Arkansas in 2017 and 2018.

Hunter currently has two EPs released that have reached over 400,000 Spotify streams and has gained radio airplay across the Midwest.

Phil Vandel (Pronounced like Vandal or Candle) has traveled the world with his music and continues to bring his powerful, unique style of singing, songwriting, and guitar playing to audiences around the globe at 150-200 shows per year.  With performances throughout North America, including several shows each year in Las Vegas, Phil has literally performed everywhere from Hollywood to DC and Canada to Mexico.  Phil has been a band member for several multi-award winning groups and has appeared in Country Weekly Magazine, on CMT, GAC, and on Country Radio Stations worldwide. 

 

Phil is a proud supporter of the U.S. Military and has donated countless hours performing shows for active, retired, and wounded warriors coast to coast. Phil has performed at multiple "welcome home" events for returning troops and he has spent many holidays at military hospitals with soldiers too injured to be home with their families.  Phil has volunteered many hours at schools throughout America offering motivational speaking and singing to kids with Medal of Honor recipients and other distinguished guests to educate kids on the price of freedom and to encourage them to give back to their communities and Country.  In 2009, Phil was blessed to be a part of the American Airlines / Operation Iraqi Children group that flew into Bahrain, Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq to entertain the U.S. Troops deployed there.  In 2010, Phil and his band embarked on two separate tours to Kuwait and Iraq for an incredible string of headlining shows for the soldiers there.  On his May 2010 trip to Iraq, he set a record for performing the most shows of any music group on a single trip down-range by logging 18 full-production concerts in just 9 days with every show at a different base.

 

Since his overseas concerts, Phil and the band have performed coast to coast including a huge 4th of July Celebration in Washington DC, an enormous fundraiser for military charities called “Skyball” in Dallas, TX, and multiple performances in Las Vegas.  In early 2013, Phil re-wrote, recorded, and shot a video for the Johnny Cash classic “Ragged Old Flag” for NCOA (Non-Commissioned Officers Association) in Texas.  The video was premiered at their National conference in Las Vegas in July 2013 to rave reviews.  Educators throughout America have used the video in the classroom to teach kids about the history of the U.S. flag.  Early 2013 also brought an opportunity for Phil to view a private screening of an upcoming film titled, “The Hornet’s Nest” that was released in November 2013.  At the request of the film’s producer, Phil and fellow songwriters Scoop Davis and Bob Vincent wrote and recorded a song titled, “Tears Of War” that is included on the official soundtrack alongside Wynonna, Kidd Rock, Stevie Nicks, and others.  Phil is featured on lead vocals and nearly all instruments.  2014 brought more touring with dates all across America including a performance at Sky Ball XII with Phat Strad and a huge "Salute To The Troops" Concert on Freemont Street in Las Vegas with Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band.  2015 was spent playing countless shows including fairs and festivals as well as another incredible performance at Sky Ball XIII in Dallas, TX and Salute to the Troops concert with the Lt. Dan Band on Fremont Street in Las Vegas.  2016 brought the release of "Bad Habit" and a whirlwind tour including stops in Vegas and Hawaii.  2017 brought Phil all over America in support of his new album and passion for giving back to Veterans' Organizations.  2018 is jam packed with concert dates, new music, and changes to the live show.

The Phil Vandel Band is a group of stellar musicians and singers that has a repertoire of hundreds of songs and even though their roots are in country music, their extraordinary musical versatility offers something for almost everyone.
